Telephone Reference

Telephone Reference is a service that provides answers to brief questions, information about the library catalog, and library services and programs.

Reference Librarians at Stillwater Public Library are available to take your calls:
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday - Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Email Reference

Email Reference service allows you to submit questions to the Help Desk via email. Send your question to askalibrian@stillwater.org

Please be as complete and specific as possible so we can provide you with the best answer.
Replies are usually sent within 24 hours. If you need an immediate answer to a question, please call the library directly.

Text Reference

Use your cell phone to text your questions to us at 405-385-9533. Text-a-Librarian is only available during regular library hours.
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday - Saturday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Please note: It is possible you will not be answered immediately if the reference librarian is assisting another customer or is briefly away from the Help Desk.

Instant Messaging Reference

IM Reference service allows you to ask reference questions and get answers in real time during library hours. You may connect through Yahoo, Google Talk, AIM, ICQ, MSN, MySpace, or through our Meebo Me widget.

To use the Meebo Me widget, simply type your question in the bottom section of the widget and hit enter. The Meebo widget is located in the right column.
