Computer Classes

Enroll at the Adult Reference Desk or call 372-3633 ext. 106. Names will be placed on a waiting list for each class. Each month classes will be filled from the waiting list. During the week prior to the scheduled class, enrollees will be contacted to verify attendance. A limited number of classes are taught in June, July, and August. Summer classes are at 7:00 pm.

Using the Mouse—1^st Tuesday of each month

8 For beginners with little or no computer knowledge

8 Covers computer terminology, turning a computer on and off, and using a mouse

Basic Microsoft Word—2^nd Tuesday of each month

8 For word processing beginnners-should know basic computer and how to use a mouse and keyboard

8 Covers basic word processing functions in Microsoft Word

Basic Email—3^rd Tuesday of each month

8 For beginning email users-should know basic computer and how to use a mouse

8 Covers how to read, compose, and send email; how to create an email address book; and how to attach files and pictures to email

Basic Internet—4^th Tuesday of each month

8 For Internet beginnners-should know basic computer and how to use a mouse and keyboard

8 Covers how to manuveur and search on the Internet

Individual sessions for computer assistance can be scheduled with a library volunteer on Wednesday mornings. To schedule, ask the reference librarian.
