Bicycle maintenance course offered at Stillwater Public Library May 24
(STILLWATER, OKLA. / May 8, 2014) – The Stillwater Public Library and District Bicycles are partnering to offer bicyclers a class on basic cycling. "Basic Bicycle Maintenance & More!" will be taught by Austin Turner and John Mattingly and will be held at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The session will teach participants critical information like how to change a flat tire, general maintenance necessary for a reliable and functioning bike and basic safety procedures that every biker should know. Participants will also find out more about biking in Stillwater and why biking is good for both cyclers and the community.
“The staff from District Bicycles will be showing basic repairs and procedure on real bicycles so that participants can get a live view of the techniques,” said Tiara Young, librarian and event organizer. “Anyone who is new to bicycling or those who are general hobby riders will get a lot of important information in this session.”
"Basic Bicycle Maintenance & More!" is free and open to the public. Adults and children are welcome and families are encouraged to attend together. For more information, call (405) 372-3633, visit the web site at http://library.stillwater.org or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
