Kid's Program Teen Program Kick-off Party with the Chamber's Young
Professionals of Stillwater Sunday, June 2 at 2-4 p.m. Crafts, face painting, pictures with a cartoon
character, secret discoveries from a real geologist and
more! Kick-off Party! Monday, May 20 at 6 p.m. Sub sandwiches, live action Angry Birds and other games,
tours of the library's "underground," and more! Programs every Tuesday at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:30
p.m. Note: Capacity is 300 people. We are sorry that
people over that number will not be able to be admitted. Please plan
to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Programs every Wednesday at 2 p.m. to 3:30
p.m. Students in grades 6-12 may attend. Programs will be held in the

Make the Most of Your Retirement with monthly class from OSU Emeriti Association Classes begin May 15 |

The Oklahoma State University Emeriti
Association and the Stillwater Public Library are partnering to offer a new
special interest group, "Making the Most of Retirement," for retirees in the
Stillwater community. The group
meets at 1:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Stillwater Public
Library.
"The goal of this program is to make the
retirement experience more fulfilling and satisfying for the community's
retirees," said Zane Quible, chair of the new
group.
The monthly presentations will focus on topics
retirees most often confront, including finance, daily living, personal
fulfillment and hobbies, security and volunteer opportunities. Upcoming programs

JustFiction: a Novel Building Workshop will
be taught April 6- Sept. 7 by New York Times best selling author,
William Bernhardt
OSU Arts and Science Outreach and Stillwater Public Library are making an exciting announcement in conjunction with "Just Fiction," an upcoming writing series from New York Times best selling author William Bernhardt. One student from the series of classes will have a book released by local publishing company New Forums Press.
"Most writers do not publish their first book," said Bernhardt. "For me, twenty years passed between my first rejection and my first published work. New Forums Press is providing an invaluable opportunity by offering to publish the contest winner's book. This is a once in a lifetime chance for area writers." Read the rest of the story.
